JTrove is a designer collective representing Canadian artists, jewellery makers, apparel and accessory designers and essentially anybody that has a flair for creating handmade items.  We pride ourselves on selecting items that are handmade, and not mass produced. 

Currency of transaction provided

All products purchased will be charged in Canadian Funds at the current daily exchange rate. Depending on your country of origin your billed amount will be in local currency and may vary from the published price listed on our web site. As well your financial institution may also charge a service fee or international transaction fee (where applicable).

Taxes

  • All orders shipped within Canada are subject to provincial and federal tax guidelines.
  • Taxes will be charged based on the shipping address provided.
  • Orders shipped within Canada (not including Ontario, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick) wil be charged 5% GST.
  • Orders shipped to an Ontario address will be charged 13% HST.
  • Orders shipped to Newfoundland, Nova Scotia or New Brunswick will be charged 13% HST.
  • Canadian taxes will not be charged to orders being shipped to the United States.  Customers in this instance will be responsible for any additional taxes and duties charged by customs.
  • We do not ship outside of North America.

Items are usually shipped within 2 days after an order is received and confirmed.  Should an item be out of stock, or unavailable for immediate shipment, we will contact you to make alternative arrangements, or refund your payment in its entirety, should you decide not to wait while the item is restocked.  All items are shipped via UPS, and a tracking number will be emailed to you, once UPS has picked up the package from our store in Mississauga. 

The approximate shipping times (transit period), for in-stock items is:
4 days in Greater Toronto area
5 days in Southwestern Ontario
5-9 days to other major Canadian cities, and the US.
Up to three weeks for remote areas
Please remember that during the winter months delivery may take longer than estimated due to seasonal volumes and inclement weather. Please order as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
If you need an item urgently, then please select an expedited service option from our Shipping Options section.  Please note that there is an additional charge for expedited delivery.

Return Policy       

If there is a problem with your purchase, we will be happy to exchange the item or refund your money within 14-days of shipment.  However, we only offer refunds if the item is defective.  If you simply change your mind, we will gladly exchange it for another item or store credit (provided it is within the 14-day period).   This includes items that don"t fit, so please be sure to check sizing on clothing items before purchasing. If you need to do an exchange, please do NOT send anything back to us without first contacting us, and then please wait for a response from us with instructions.  All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
You will need to ship your package to us, securely wrapped, through a carrier offering package-tracking technology, such as UPS.
We realize that extenuating circumstances do exist; if you are ordering a gift or you are worried about sizing.  If so please contact us before you make your purchase.  We are always willing to work something out, provided arrangements are made in advance.  
If you have any questions at all regarding our policy or guarantee, please e-mail us at customer.service@jtrove.com and we will get right back to you with an answer. We know it can be difficult to make purchases over the Internet, so please do not hesitate to ask us about items in which you are interested.  No question will be left unanswered.
Please note that we cannot refund the original or return shipping costs unless the return is due to our shipping error or a defective product. JTrove  will not be responsible for expedited return shipping charges, or any shipping charges that have not been preauthorized.
